Economic development is one of my top priorities. I propose to revitalize the San Fernando Road Corridor into an Arts, Media and Design District. This would become an economic and cultural engine for Glendale. By harnessing the Redevelopment Agency, which is charged with fostering economic development, we can take advantage of Glendale’s proximity to the entertainment industry.

My proposal will pay for itself by creating a vibrant new tax base from businesses and jobs that will be attracted, translating into new revenue for Glendale.

Having served as a Commissioner on Glendale’s Design Review Board and owning a business in the arts industry, I am uniquely qualified to implement this vision for Glendale.

I am dedicated to serving Glendale. While Chairing my Commission, I went through successful treatment for breast cancer. I subsequently founded the Glendale Garden Tour fundraiser to benefit local cancer survivors.

I have been a strong advocate for our neighborhoods. As a member of Glendale Organized Against Cell Towers (GOACT), I successfully fought to regulate unsightly cell towers.

My proactive leadership can make a difference in solving our city’s traffic, safety, and budget problems.

Please join former Glendale Mayors Carl Raggio and Rick Reyes in supporting my candidacy.
