I am honored to serve on the GCC Board of Trustees since 2002 and as President of the Board in fiscal year 2005 – 2006. I have contributed significantly to many accomplishments at our college, including the prioritization of Measure G funds, successful completion of our parking structure, doubling the capacity of our nursing program, designing the expansion of Garfield campus, updating board policies and advocating for our fair share of state funding.
Our college faces many challenges as a result of the current economic environment. We need experienced individuals with proven track records. I will continue to serve GCC with unwavering commitment and passion for excellent academic and vocational programs by making well-informed and fiscally-responsible decisions.
I received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from USC and an MBA from California Polytechnic University Pomona.
In my twenty-eight year career in telecommunications, I held leadership positions in engineering, project management and government relations.
I serve on the boards of:

- Glendale Latino Association
- Glendale Police Department’s Community-Police Partnership Advisory Committee
- Cal State LA’s Pat Brown Institute of Public Affairs
